Spiced Apple Ginger Rum Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. rum
  • 1 oz. ginger liqueur*
  • 1 oz. vanilla liqueur*
  • 3 oz. apple cider
  • couple shakes of cinnamon
  • couple shakes of nutmeg (I used fresh and grated it on a zester)

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in cocktail shaker, shake well, then strain into a tall glass filled with ice.

*You can substitute the ginger and vanilla liqueur with some vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste and muddled ginger (or ginger paste) about 1/2-1 tsp. each.
