5 Most Viewed Recipes of 2013

by Judy

Happy New Year friends!  I hope 2013 was a fantastic year for you and I hope 2014 is an even better one, full of love, good health and much happiness!  Since the end of the year is full of lists I thought I’d add one to the mix.  So here it is…my 5 Most Viewed Recipes of 2013.

5MostViewedRecipesOf2013

No. 1:   My Apple Pie-tini grabbed the top billing and I can say it’s well deserved.  It’s a delicious martini for fall (or anytime) that uses fresh apple cider and the apple pie spices we all love.  I hope you’ve had a chance to give it a try.  It’s a crowd pleaser.

No. 2:  Butternut Squash Pumpkin Soup came about because I thought I should post a recipe with pumpkin.  I don’t go crazy over everything pumpkin like most people do in the fall, but I do enjoy it most in savory recipes.  This soup turned out really yummy and, of course, I love the little kick of Chipotle (my favorite spice) in it.

No 3:  Who doesn’t love a Pina Colada?  I’m always looking to turn any drink into a martini and this Pina Colada-Tini does not disappoint.  Also, I think it’s one of my favorite pictures I took.  I just love the cherry hanging off the side!

No. 4:  Baileys Irish Cream Cake isn’t really an original recipe, just modified from the rum cake recipes all over the internet.  It is a nice variation and a superb use of the Barb’s Baileys Irish Cream hopefully you’ve had a chance to make.

No. 5:  I don’t know anyone that doesn’t love peanut butter cups so I knew most people would enjoy this Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Martini.  It took several tries to get it the way I liked it, but it was a fun day experimenting with my friend Joyce!  It’s a bit sweet but makes a delicious dessert cocktail or one for those that prefer a sweeter drink.
