2 parts honey mint or maple mint simple syrup (whichever you prefer)
4 parts Ice tea
squeeze of lemon
Make Ice Tea:
Prepare iced tea according to package directions. Set aside to chill in refrigerator.
Make Simple Syrup:
Make either (or both) honey mint or maple mint simple syrup by combining 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup in sauce pan with a handful of mint. Bring to boil, remove from heat and let cool. Strain. Set aside
Combine bourbon, simple syrup, squeeze of lemon and ice tea in cocktail shaker. Shake well, strain into tall glass filled with ice. Adjust amount of ice tea if necessary depending on how tall your glass is and how much ice tea you want.
