Antipasto Skewers

  • Wooden skewers
  • Marinated, pitted olives from deli bar at grocery store (or a jar of good ones)
  • Fresh mozzarella balls
  • Slices of Italian salami (I buy a variety pack)
  • Grape tomatos
  • Jar of marinated artichoke hearts
  • Fresh or frozen cheese tortellini or ravioli
  • Pesto (homemade or store bought)
  • Balsamic glaze to drizzle over top, if desired.


  1. Cook tortellini/ravioli according to package directions, drain and toss with pesto sauce, set aside to cool.
  2. Drain but do not rinse artichoke hearts and set aside. Drain mozzarella balls and set aside.
  3. Assemble skewers with a piece of each ingredient. I like to wrap the salami around the mozzarella ball. Order doesn’t matter but it’s nice to have colors alternate.


I haven’t given exact amounts of each item because I just buy a package of each and make as many skewers until I run out of one of the items. If you want a lot of skewers, buy a couple packages of each 🙂
