It’s Day 10 of 12 Days of Christmas Cocktails and I’m in Cabo San Lucas! Woo Hoo! Or should I say Ole? In any event, I feel I must post a festive margarita today. This Cranberry Pomegranate Margarita is just right for a holiday-ish margarita!
If you’re a regular reader, no doubt you’ve noticed by now that I love cranberry and pomegranate juices in cocktails, both separately and mixed together. Last year I made a Cranberry Pomegranate Mojito which was quite yummy so I thought why not try the cranberry/pomegranate combination in a margarita? Instead of using pomegranate juice I decided to use some Pama pomegranate liqueur to replace the orange liqueur typically found in a margarita (at least the kind I like) and give it a little pomegranate taste at the same time.
I know things are getting really hectic for most of you right about now with Christmas a couple of days away so think about this Cranberry Pomegranate Margarita if you want a quick and easy cocktail. No fancy flavored syrups to make ahead. The only real work is juicing a lime. Just pour, shake and drink! Enjoy…and Happy Holidays!
