Pineapple Jalapeño Salsa

A delicious pineapple salsa to serve with chips or grilled fish or meats!




  • 2 C small diced pineapple (about 1/2 pineapple, could use frozen, defrosted as well)
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, viens and seeds removed, chopped
  • 1/4 red onion, chopped
  • 1/2 C chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • pinch of salt


Combine all salsa ingredients and bowl and toss to combine. This can be done ahead of time and stored in refrigerator prior to serving.  I prefer it served at room temperature.


To serve on top grilled salmon: Heat grill to low heat, about 250 degrees. Coat salmon fillet with a bit of oil and sprinkle with salt and fresh ground black pepper. Grill salmon on low heat until cooked, about 10 minutes (5 minutes on each side).  Place on serving platter and top with salsa!
